Olexander Wlasenko; "Two Lights"

Strikingly beautiful new work by Olexander;  this very large piece features the Danish born actress Ana Karina from the French film "She did it her Way".  The drawing shows Ana as a bobbed-haired beauty passing two lights.  She has a sultry and ambivalent look on her face.  Ana, who was discovered by Coco Chanel and later married to Jean-Luc Godard, was one of the queen's of French cinema's "New Wave". While she may not be as well known as some movie icons, she had quite a successful career as an actress and also as a singer and writer.  60" l., 36" w. unframed.  Canadian, 2012   SOLD
