This month our shop window had three sources of inspiration, Valentine's Day, American style and a 1970's comedic television anthology. "Love American Style", for those who don't remember was a Friday night prime-time t.v. show that ran from 1969-1974. For several seasons it was part of a Friday night ABC line up that included Room 222, The Partridge Family, The Brady Bunch and The Odd Couple. It had a very catchy theme song and featured several different stories of romance each week, usually with a comedic spin. The focal point of our February window is the large heart from the show. Also featured is our tulip dining set. A large red painted Valentine heart serves as a nice backdrop for the tulip chair with it's bright yellow seat cushion.
