Kittinger Furniture Co. Set of 6 Dining Chairs

The Kittinger Furniture Company has a long history of producing some of the world's most beautiful  handcrafted furniture.  They were established in 1866 and are still producing furniture with the same care, detailing and innovation for which they have been known for a century and a half.  Kittinger Furniture is found in some of the world's finest homes and establishments including the White House.  Pieces can be found in the West Wing, Roosevelt Room, Cabinet Room and several other locations throughout the White House.  The blue chair that President Barrack Obama sat in on Inauguration Day was made by Kittinger.  It takes company craftsmen over 50 hours to make a single chair.  Kittinger fine craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in this sensational set of six Neoclassical dining chairs.  The Mahogany and Rosewood chairs have ebonized decoration and perfectly patinated black Castillian leather seats with gold embossing.  32" h., 19" w., 19" d.  American, c. 1958  SOLD
